Tone It Up 6:40 Inspired Activewear

Like fashion, fitness has evolved over the years. Trends come and go, but one thing remains the same, to look and feel fabulous. In honor of Katrina Scott, the cofounder of Tone It Up, launching her new Studio Tone It Up program, I thought it would be fun to do some TIU 6:40 inspired activewear. I may or may not have ordered some of these items while I was creating this fun collage.

Just a little disclaimer. This post is in no way endorsed or sponsored by Tone It Up. I am just a girl sharing something she loves and thinks you all need to know about it. You can read all about my fitness journey here and how Tone It Up has truly changed my life.

Jumpsuits/ Bodysuits

I have been very hesitant about jumpsuits and bodysuits, but I just ordered one and I am all for it. Plus, doesn’t this black one look like Cher’s from Clueless. I didn’t even know Anthropologie sold stuff like this. This one is super cute! If you follow Sivan Ayla, this green one is from her new collection Tan Lines. If I can look this good in a bodysuit, I am all for it! Also, the amount of outfit options that one bodysuit or jumpsuit can give you is awesome. I love the all the colors and the variety one item can bring to my closet.

Shorts

Biker shorts have been around for awhile. Again, I was hesitant to jump into this fashion trend, but sometimes a cute pair is all I need to be influenced to try out a trend. They kind of remind me of more appropriate spandex shorts and the fact that they stay in place is kind of nice. Also, these more vintage/retro short shorts are super cute and I could see wearing them over a bodysuit and leggings to go with your oldies activewear look.

T-Shirt Bras

I already own a few of these and just ordered more. I love that these bras are longer so you don’t have to fidget with them during a workout. Also, if you are in a hurry, you don’t have to add a shirt (unless you live in Idaho and the weather sucks so you need a shirt). It’s probably becoming pretty clear that not only do I want to be fashionable, but also functional. There is nothing I hate more, then adjusting my activewear throughout my entire workout.

High Socks

High socks, leg warmers and maybe a sweat band are the fun accessories to complete your 80s activewear look. White socks are a must, but I feel like you could add your own style by mixing up the color or leg warmers and sweat bands.

Have you tried any of these trends? What do you think about the 80s activewear look?

xo, kaylee
