Fall Bedroom Update

Yesterday, I got the itch to redecorate. This happens a few times a year and I let me inner dream of being an interior designer take over. I am that person who could never tire of shopping for home decor. It’s my absolute favorite. Maybe if I ever build a house that answer might change depending on the scenario. I headed to Target to see what I could find (my hometown doesn’t have many places for home decor). What started as just getting a few fun pillows, turned into a full bed overall. Here is my fall bedroom update.

Just a tiny reminder, I am currently living with my mother through this new change of life plan with being a single mom, working full time and getting my Master’s degree (update on how this is going coming soon). It has been great and I am helping her redo a lot of things throughout her house. This was what the bedding situation has been. Very simple and definitely lacked in the decorative pillow department. Don’t worry, I fixed that issue x5. This entire bedding transformation is linked below and on my liketoknow.it

1. Sheets

I used the Threshold Flannel Patterned Sheet Set in Plaid. They are incredibly soft and yes, I switched to flannel. Idaho is dropping in temperature very fast and it is supposed to snow in the next 2 days. We barely have had a fall so I am definitely not ready for winter.

2. Add the Duvet

This one is the Heavyweight Linen Duvet by Casaluna. It is so soft, great quality, and I highly recommend it. The matching shams have a cute frilly detail on the edge for a fun, feminine feel.

3. Pillows

Possibly the best part. Tips for mixing and matching pillows is have 3 sizes and a mix of patterns, solids, and textures. These pillows are all by Threshold and can be styled multiple ways throughout the year.

4. Add a Throw

This one is so incredibly soft and just screams fall to me with the gorgeous burnt orange color. I am so excited with how this whole bed set came together.

One room down and many more projects to go. Next up, redoing Beckham’s nursery. Can’t wait to share! Make sure you are subscribed to my email list to not miss any updates on the blog.
