My Top 5 Book Recommendations

my top 5 book recommendations

I have always been quite the bookworm. I love getting wrapped up in a story and losing track of time. Of course, since I had a baby, I don’t have as much time as I would like, but I still squeeze time in here and there. My family teases me, because I refuse to read on a Kindle. I have to physically hold the book or I am not really interested. I’m don’t know what it is, but I love to turn the pages and be able to fold down the corners to mark my place. I know, I know I am a nerd. And I am okay with that. Today I am sharing my top 5 book recommendations.

1. The Friendship List by Susan Mallery

I recently bought this book at Target and read it in 2 days. Safe to say, it was a good one!! About 2 best friends who were holding back on life, because of their own personal struggles. One summer they come up with the friendship list to push each other out of their comfort zones. Fun and easy read to kick off summer.

2. Summer of 69 by Elin Hilderbrand

If you are looking for a beach read, anything by Elin Hilderbrand is a good option. I have read many of her books and I love how they always transport me to a dreamy destination.

3. Growing Boldly by Emily Ley

This self-help book is by far my favorite of all the books by Emily. Maybe, because of the season of life that I am in, but whatever the case may be, this is a must read. All about pushing past your fears and recognizing your true potential. Creating a dream life for yourself.

4. Everything is Figureoutable by Marie Forleo

Does fear hold you back? Do you make up excuses for why you can’t do ______? This book will change your life and your mindset on all the things. By sharing her own experiences, Marie inspires you to not give up on a dream and helps you figure out all of the little things along the way.

5. Dare to Lead by Brene Brown

This book is all the things! Teaching you how to be a leader in ever role of your life. This book is super interesting and a great read if you are an entrepreneur or business man or women.

I am always looking for recommendations. What books are you reading lately?
