Strawberry Valentine’s Smoothie

I have deemed February the month of self care. After not prioritizing myself for so long, I am determined to make a change. For years I was told that self care was selfish. That couldn’t have been more wrong. If we don’t take care of ourselves, we have nothing to give to those around us. Yesterday, I started off on a positive note with an amazing workout and then whipped up this amazing protein smoothie. I always feel so much better after moving my body. I have a ton more energy and have an extra pep in my step throughout the day. Plus, I am more motivated to eat lean, clean, and green. Today, I am sharing the recipe for my Strawberry Valentine’s Smoothie.

Strawberry Valentine’s Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1/4 frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1 Tbsp coconut shavings
  • 1 cup Almond milk
  • opt. Tone It Up Vanilla protein

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients
  2. Blend and serve
